Developing a mobile application for Employee Benefits and MPF information

THE CHALLENGE

To allow employees to have instant access to key information, Practicus was asked to develop a single application that combined the functions of both Employee Benefits and Mandatory Provident Fund business units.

THE ENGAGEMENT

Practicus provided business analysis and project management capabilities to the application’s development. This included collecting and communicating requirements, identifying dependencies, tracking timelines and managing project risk. The team also provided analysis that would impact on strategic direction.

THE OUTCOME

The application successfully combined the requirements of both functions, allowing staff to check the latest information on employee benefits as well as check their MPF balance, latest fund details and change their change fund allocation instructions. With stakeholder satisfaction assured, the application was launched successfully.
