Key Information Documents

key information documents

The requirement for Key Information Documents (KIDs) came into law in April 2020 and form part of the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Business Regulations 2003.  They should be provided by the agency to the work seeker and are designed to provide transparency on how the worker is to be paid and the deductions involved. For example, directly to their personal service company, via agency PAYE or via an umbrella employer.  Please note they are not intended to include detailed contractual information.

Below you will find KIDs for every contracting model available at Practicus.  These contain generic information and example take home pay based on £500pd for 5 days per week. A more specific KID can be produced if required.
