Care Home Improvement and Turnaround

Practicus provided resource to this Adult Care Services provider for the improvement and turnaround of nursing and care homes. We placed an expert consultant to deliver:

• Turnaround management
• CQC compliance
• Marketing and business growth
• Quality management

This included deployment to four homes to deliver improvement and/or turnaround.

Following the operational review of each home, the consultant led and managed delivery of:

• Transformational change in the turnaround of a 16-bed residential service for individuals with challenging/complex intellectual disabilities
• Transformational and organisational change of a 26-bed nursing home
• Transformational and organisational change of a 70-bed nursing and residential home
• Preparation for a CQC inspection, achieving overall ‘Good’ in all five key domains of a 23-bed residential service for people with complex/challenging intellectual disabilities
