21 Years. 21 Kilometres. One Powerful Cause.

How do you celebrate a company milestone?
For some, it’s a cake and a few speeches. For others, a glass of something bubbly. But at Practicus, we decided to mark our 21st anniversary a little differently — by lacing up our trainers and heading out for a 21km walk along the Thames Path in aid of a cause that truly matters.
Walking with purpose
This year, we chose The Ben Kinsella Trust as our Charity of the Year. Their mission is to educate young people about the dangers of knife crime and campaign for lasting change in communities across the UK. After hearing powerful presentations from CEO Patrick Green and Anna Skipton, it became clear just how vital their work is — and how proud we were to support it.
So we created a challenge: 21km for 21 years.

A team of colleagues from across Practicus took on the walk, joined by supporters and cheered on by others who helped with logistics behind the scenes. The day ended with a celebratory colour run — joyful, messy and full of meaning.
Smashing the target
Our original fundraising goal was £2,100 — £100 for every year we’ve been in business. But thanks to the incredible generosity of colleagues, friends, family, clients and community supporters, we didn’t just meet the target — we surpassed it by 35%, raising an amazing £2,844.
Every pound raised will go towards The Ben Kinsella Trust’s vital work in schools and communities, helping young people make positive choices and stay safe.

Why this matters
At Practicus, we’re driven by purpose. Whether it’s helping organisations navigate complex change or giving back to causes we believe in, we want to make a difference. This walk was a perfect reflection of that — coming together, doing something meaningful, and creating impact beyond the workplace.
To everyone who donated, supported, walked, or just cheered us on — thank you.
Here’s to 21 years of Practicus — and to a future where every young person has the chance to thrive, free from violence.
