Jamie began his career at a London-based publishing company called Centaur Media. He was engaged as a Senior Sales Executive for The Engineer portfolio. Responsible for the delivery of sales across all online and print products as well as related events, Jamie had considerable success in this role, significantly growing its portfolio of clients.
In 2009, Jamie joined Practicus’s Bristol office as an Interim Management Consultant with a specific remit to deliver the Interim Management proposition within the Healthcare division. Jamie brought continuous success and growth over the next six years at Practicus, driving through a quality and relationship-focused model.
His natural leadership qualities have seen him quickly progress through the ranks from Consultant to Senior Consultant to Principal Consultant and, more recently, to General Manager of Practicus’s Bristol office. He has been a stalwart within the Bristol team, delivering consistent results and leading by example both in performance and values. This includes winning numerous internal and external awards such as becoming one of the Top 12 consultants in the country, which he achieved in both 2014 and 2015 through the vote of interim managers in the Institute of Interim Management (IIM) survey.
Outside of work, Jamie is fully immersed in family life, happily married to his wife who he has two 4 year old twin girls with. Outside of forest adventures and beach explorations, Jamie is a passionate golfer, having played since the age of 7, and still secretly hopes that he will become the next Tiger Woods.
