• Currently leading one of the most radical workplace transformation programmes in Local Government
• Led the “Day 1” Transition for the merger of five Local Authorities into one forming Wiltshire Council
• Transformed the Pension Service’s “Local Service”, doubling productivity and reducing operating costs by £22 million a year
• Led the creation of the first Joint DWP/Local Authority FAB team under the sponsorship of the Cabinet Office’s Learning Lab agenda, using a ‘Systems Thinking’ approach that resulted in Mark being asked to represent the United Kingdom at the 2nd European Quality Conference for Public Administration in Copenhagen
• At East of England Regional Development Agency, Mark led a programme to delegate the regional investing in communities programme
