Helen excels at implementing and communicating international HR change programmes. With 15 years' experience of working in blue chip HR environments, she helps clients maximise the returns from complex change programmes.

Helen was instrumental in communicating the organisational change that led to a successful global HR transformation programme for an international pharmaceutical organisation.

With the support of end users so critical to success, Helen built up a detailed picture of the business drivers behind the change to win them over. She then broke down the impact of the complex transformation into a language that they could understand and developed materials and presentations that would explain it more easily.

She delivered over 100 presentations to senior management and end users, explaining the benefits of the transformation and offering the opportunity for end users and managers to interact with the change team to overcome their reservations. This was particularly important for the managers who felt that more work was being generated for them without tangible benefit.

Helen also led the entire change and communication phase for the UK sector of the transformation, as well as developing communication tools and redefining the flexible benefits and global banding models. Furthermore, she analysed the organisation’s flexible working model and developed a toolkit which tracked and calculated time and holiday based on the length of service and hours worked.

Helen’s work was critical in a successful GOLIVE for this project. By effectively communicating organisational change she put the UK client base in an ideal position to deal with the imminent changes to the HR Operating model; previously resistant managers now understand how robust and factual management reports support the development of a clear and decisive people strategy.
