Practicus began with three founders who had a vision for changing the way organisations went about delivering change. Surely, there had to be a better choice for getting the skills and support they needed without turning to the traditional agency and consultancy models?
They identified that clients were crying out for someone who could work in partnership with them to deliver change. They needed someone who could be trusted to properly understand their challenges and deliver the right people and support aligned to their outcome.

Importantly, this couldn’t be a company motivated by the need to get permanent employees off the bench. It had to be about putting the right individuals on site, and quickly: people who had worked in the industry before with a demonstrable legacy of successfully delivering on similar challenges and change initiatives. These had to be ‘hands on’ people who could hit the ground running and start delivering from day one.
This is the heart of the Practicus business. We’ve described ourselves in many ways over our first six years but none of the labels seem to have fitted. The best we have found is a new phrase, one we hope to become synonymous with successful change: Outcome Delivery Partner.
