Overcoming resistance to a new system implementation
This global insurance firm aimed to replace manual sales and quotation processes with a new system. To make sure the system was accepted by internal and external stakeholders, our client needed Change Management support.
Practicus helped build a case for change and managed the change journey through preparing for business readiness, engaging effective leadership, training staff and encouraging ownership amongst stakeholders. Change Champions were selected to develop and deliver plans for benefits realisation, communications and training to affected parties including staff and external insurance brokers.
With early feedback suggesting positive outcomes, Practicus has handed activities over to internal teams. It has also left behind a series of recommendations to handle resistance after go-live, as well as a change management framework complete with templates and a knowledge sharing workshop to facilitate future change projects.
