Supporting delivery of an organisational development programme.
Following the turnaround of the PCT, its new executive team wanted to transform the Trust into a commissioning organisation with provider separation.
The Trust engaged the Practicus NHS team to deliver key parts of this transformation programme in collaboration with in-house teams. Aside from major restructuring, a re-branding of the organisation was required to attract key commissioning specialists and a world class workforce. Deliverables included creation of a Learning & Development strategy, Change Readiness assessment, programme mobilisation, governance and skills transfer.
A successful restructure of the Trust was achieved to time, budget and quality and an innovative L&D strategy developed. Staff sickness dropped from 4.7% to 3% and staff turnover reduced from 27% to 16.8%. Practicus structured knowledge transfer and provided change leadership mentoring. The Trust has been left with the knowledge, skills and abilities enabling successful change delivery on subsequent projects.
