THE PROJECT

THE CHALLENGE

The company’s objective was to improve the operational effectiveness of its mobile engineers by implementing hand held devices. These would enable everything from more efficient scheduling, to improved management information, as well as cutting down significantly on administration.

THE ENGAGEMENT

Practicus was engaged by the Transformation Director to support delivery of this initiative. This meant providing Programme Management capability to manage third parties as well as internal Business and IS sponsors for the mobile working solution. This involved delivery of the business processes that would make it work and the SAP technology that would support it.

THE OUTCOME

This programme was successfully delivered in three phases over three years. As a result of this programme, the company has experienced efficiencies and achieved increased levels of customer service.
