Ben Culora

Ben is our Director for Business Intelligence, Data and Analytics. He began his career at Practicus expanding its HR Transformation offering. Within 2 years he had grown the private sector practice considerably and was fast tracked into a General Management position. In 2010, Ben was hand-picked by the founders of Practicus to lead a niche Big Data, BI, CRM, Analytics and Insight venture. This has since become a major Practicus division, achieving considerable growth under Ben’s leadership and he remains its Director.

Ben’s career started in the electronic components industry where he worked from 1996 – 2004, eventually becoming Sales Director for a UK specialist distribution company. In late 2003, his entrepreneurial spirit drove him to pitch a business plan to Costa Coffee (Whitbread PLC) to become one of their first ever independent franchises in the UK, which proved to be a success.

Ben is a keen sportsman and regularly enjoys playing or watching Football, Cricket, Golf and F1. A few years ago, he completed the New York Marathon raising over £5000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care. He has recently passed his Level 1 FA coaching badge and intends to start coaching his children and local teams in his spare time.
