Jason Luckhurst, MD at interim management provider Practicus, gave a pithy account of his experience as a customer at an international forum recently held by accountant Grant Thornton.
Addressing over 50 of the firm’s partners at the Privately Held Business Workshop in Stockholm, he explained how he had been supported throughout his journey in building an international business from scratch, and gave them plenty of food for thought. As someone who has used the accountant’s services since he first started Practicus, he was ideally placed to give them a complete account of the customer journey, from start up to float, and didn’t hold back in delivering points for improvement as well as commendations.
Following his address, he was asked to share the challenges he now faced in growing Practicus as an international business, so that the Partners could discuss how they would overcome them in a series of workshops.
Luckhurst commented, “I was delighted to be invited to speak at this event, it gave me a chance to feed back my experience as the owner of a fast growing business to help them improve their service to others in my position. Grant Thornton has been a partner with Practicus since our inception, and this allowed me to give them a candid and in-depth account that covered an entire business cycle.”
