When Practicus was engaged to provide business analysis support for this PCI Compliance initiative, there was (as with many organisations affected by this) a fair degree of concern around how to deal with this mandated change. Our Associate’s key responsibilities were to ensure that the company attained compliance to PCI/DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).
To achieve compliance the business required completion of a program that included remediation of legacy technology, implementation of a credit card token payment system and the policies and procedures to ensure compliant business processes.
At its height the program required the management of over 100 business and technical personnel. The Practicus Associate was required to plan, develop and direct the program, manage a significant budget and lead the change management required to ensure ongoing compliance.
