Streamlining Lending and Payments Operations

Tier 1 Australian Bank

 

This Tier 1 Australian bank, with aspirations on becoming a global player in the next few years, is growing aggressively in Asia Pacific.

One of its ambitions is to improve its process maturity by implementing a Workflow Solution. Two pilot areas were selected (Payments and Lending) and Practicus was engaged to provide a Six Sigma Black Belt with experience of streamlining processes ahead of baking in a workflow solution.

The brief was very specific and it was anticipated that Practicus would have to find someone outside Australia to deliver on the assignment, (only two workflow solutions of this scale had taken place in Australia). The Practicus team drew on its extensive network and provided a practitioner who had performed a similar role in the payments function ahead of a workflow implementation at another Banking giant. 

At the time of publication, this assignment has been in flight for eight months.
