This global business had begun a journey to improve process maturity across its various divisions. At the same time it was looking at centralising functions like IT, HR and Finance out of a number of hubs -  undergoing a major transformation initiative. Practicus has been engaged on two fronts. Initially it was asked to provide a small team to help map the “as is” finance processes across all various regions within the finance function. We supplied a team of two process analysts into the business to map the entire finance function from Accounts Receivable to Accounts Payable.

Once Practicus had demonstrated its capability on this assignment, it was then asked to provide a small team of HR Process design experts to model the ‘to be’ state of a new HR Shared Service structure to be rolled out globally. This concerned the adoption and adaption of industry best practice around transactional HR activities - from ‘hire to retire’. Significantly, the client wanted a small team of process design professionals who could face off to, and work alongside, a team of “Big Four” consultants.
